A slab-serif by Nicolas Eigenheer, originally drawn from Breite fette Egyptienne, a Bauer Foundry revival of Vincent Figgins's Antique that traces back to early 19th century attention-commanding posters. Two decades after the first drawing, Eigenheer and Niklas Herrmann redrew the family, stripping it back to its essential forms and adding nuanced intermediate styles so it works at small sizes as well as large display settings. Five weights from Thin to Black with italics and an Upright Variable and full Variable.
