Ludovic Balland's binary Book and Poster system, originally drawn for the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, with Mono and Pan companions.

About

A sans-serif by Ludovic Balland that sits at the intersection of constructivism and humanism. Initiated in 2007 for the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw and partly inspired by Marek Sigmund's design for the Polish Ministry of Transportation, NEXT is built as a binary programme: each weight comes as Book, with linear flow for text, and Poster, where narrow and wider letters create dynamic visual rhythm. A Mono variant and Pan Book and Pan Poster cuts round out the family, giving art and culture identities a coherent typographic toolkit.
