Ludovic Balland's sharp, angular Times-inspired serif, with text weights and a higher-contrast Poster cut.

About

A serif by Ludovic Balland inspired by Times New Roman. Stanley keeps the legibility and economy of its reference but sharpens the shapes into something more angular and contemporary. Wide honed counter-forms and short ascenders and descenders make it efficient at small sizes, while the Poster style increases contrast and graphic clarity for headlines. Regular and Bold weights with italics, plus a Poster cut, named for Stanley Morison, the typographer behind Times New Roman.
