Void specimen from Optimo

Malte Bentzen's blobby display typeface from a research project into abstract typographic shapes, in three weights with a variable axis.

About

A display typeface by Malte Bentzen drawn from a research project into abstract typographic shapes that are not defined by standard writing tools. Suspended between past and future, Void's blobby shapes carry a magnetic fluidity reminiscent of solvent molecules, challenging the rational basis of the alphabet. After interest from designers wanting to use the lettering, Bentzen developed the project into a complete typeface with Thin, Regular and Bold weights and an Upright Variable axis.
