Part of the Arlt family, Lanzallamas uses OpenType programming to rotate through the seven stylistic variants of Arlt 7 Locos in a sequence determined by the length of the text line. The result is a living, unpredictable display face where no two settings look identical. Recognised as a Typographica Favourite of 2008 and an honourable mention at Creative Review London 2005, it sits firmly at the experimental end of Latin display typography.
