Arlt Título
Pampatype · Alejandro Lo Celso · 2008

A titling companion to the Arlt text family, designed by Alejandro Lo Celso with five styles including an openface variant for display settings above 24pt.
About
Designed by Alejandro Lo Celso and post-produced by José Luis Acosta, Arlt Título shares the proportions of the Arlt text type but is tuned specifically for headings and large-scale settings. Its five fonts span two weights — Blanca and Negra — each with a cursive, plus an openface Hueca for more ceremonial use. The family was a Typographica Favourite of 2008 and received an honourable mention at the Creative Review awards in London in 2005.
Classification
Described by the foundry as neoclassical and transitional in character, with display proportions designed for headings above 24pt and an openface variant for special occasions, placing it firmly in the display serif category.
