Agrandir
Pangram Pangram Foundry · Alex Slobzheninov · 2018

A 74-style serifless family spanning five widths and a text cut, built around deliberately imperfect, quirky letterforms as a counterpoint to modernist neutrality.
About
Designed by Alex Slobzheninov, Agrandir runs across six sub-families from Tight to Grand, each with 14 styles plus a variable cut, alongside a four-style Text family for body copy. Three OpenType preset alternates, Default, Grotesk and Geometric, shift the overall character without requiring per-glyph adjustments. The tight spacing and wide width range make it well suited to headlines, logotypes and posters, while the Text subfamily handles longer reads.
Classification
A serifless type family described as an antipode to neutral modernist grotesques, with deliberately quirky, unaligned letterforms that resist the clean geometry of pure geometric or humanist sans categories.
