Editorial Old
Pangram Pangram Foundry · Mat Desjardins, Fred Wiltshire, Francesca Bolognini · 2023

A narrow serif with softened curves and abundant ligatures, designed as a looser, more eroded companion to Editorial New with a mid-90s retro character.
About
Born as a deliberate reworking of Pangram Pangram's Editorial New, this typeface relaxes the tension in the curves, softens the terminals and introduces droopy, luscious ligatures that lean into an eroded, vintage sensibility. Sixteen styles span eight weights from Thin to Heavy with matching italics, and the family is available as a variable font. At 463 glyphs per style, it covers a broad range of Latin-based languages and includes OpenType features such as discretionary ligatures in both upper and lower case, standard ligatures and case-sensitive forms.
Classification
A narrow serif with softened curves, relaxed connections and droopy ligatures; the foundry describes it as an eroded, vintage-inflected spin-off of Editorial New, placing it within a transitional serif tradition with display-leaning personality.
