A high-contrast serif by Caio Kondo, named after the Japanese artist Eiko Ishioka and shaped with the same sense of purpose. Sixteen styles span eight weights from Thin to Heavy with full italics and a variable axis. Latin sits alongside Japanese kana, hiragana and katakana plus a 81-glyph educational kanji set, designed to pair with kanji fonts in the mincho style. Stylistic sets include circled and squared numbers, vertical writing, mathematical and meteorological symbols.
