A contemporary grotesque by Mat Desjardins, first released in 2018 and developed continuously into a 36-style family covering Latin, Cyrillic, Greek and Arabic.

About

Designed by Mat Desjardins and inspired loosely by Montreal's modernist visual culture, the family spans Hairline to Black with matching italics across a variable weight axis. Version 3 added a dedicated Text subfamily with wider apertures and adjusted spacing for improved legibility at small sizes. Language support covers over 500 languages across Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic and Vietnamese scripts.

Classification

A contemporary grotesque sans-serif with roots in modernist typographic tradition, self-described as a grotesque and structured around clean, rational proportions typical of the genre.
