About
Developed with Studio Safar as collaborator, Neue Montreal Arabic extends Pangram Pangram's popular grotesque into Arabic script with equal attention paid to weight matching, baseline alignment and typographic tone. Seven weights run from Thin to Bold, each carrying 879 glyphs covering Arabic, Cyrillic and extended Latin, with a variable font also available. The family is positioned for brand identity, web interfaces and editorial contexts where Latin and Arabic text must sit together without either script feeling secondary.
Classification
A modern Arabic grotesque designed as a companion to Neue Montreal, sharing the clean, neutral grotesque character of the Latin original while respecting the structural logic of Arabic script.
