Neue York
Pangram Pangram Foundry · Andrea Biggio, Francesca Bolognini, Mat Desjardins · 2026

A 48-style gothic sans in three widths, drawn from New York City's street-level visual culture and American gothic lettering traditions.
About
Designed by Andrea Biggio, Francesca Bolognini and Mat Desjardins in collaboration with Collins New York, Neue York pulls from bodega signage, subway mosaics and worn American gothics to build a contemporary type system with a deliberately vintage edge. Eight weights from Thin to Black, each with an italic, run across Condensed, Narrow and Normal widths, with differing x-heights tuned to different roles: the Condensed sits taller for headlines, the Normal proportioned for text. Each sub-family also ships with a variable cut.
Classification
Classified by the foundry as a gothic sans serif, drawing explicitly on American gothic lettering traditions and New York City visual culture, with a structured yet slightly rough character consistent with that lineage.
