Palma
Pangram Pangram Foundry · Alex Slobzheninov, Mat Desjardins, Francesca Bolognini · 2026

A 28-style dual-nature sans spanning a restrained humanist cut and a crisper, more geometric Fizzy variant, drawing loose inspiration from Antique Olive, Johnston and Avenir.
About
Designed by Alex Slobzheninov, Mat Desjardins and Francesca Bolognini, Palma splits into two subfamilies that share the same weight range but diverge in character. The Plain family favours open, legible forms suited to running text and subtle applications, while Fizzy tightens spacing and accentuates detail for use at display sizes. Both subfamilies ship in seven weights with matching italics and variable font files, covering a broad range of Latin-based languages.
Classification
Palma blends geometric and humanist sans-serif qualities across its two subfamilies, with open shapes and natural proportions in Plain and tighter, more geometric forms in Fizzy. The foundry tags it as both humanist and display, reflecting its dual nature.
