PP Neue Montreal specimen from Pangram Pangram Foundry

A grotesque with display spirit and tight kerning, in seven weights with italics and Cyrillic, pitched as a champion brand font.

About

PP Neue Montreal is a grotesque sans designed to act like a workhorse and a display face at once. Seven weights from Thin to Bold each have an italic, the kerning is slightly tighter than a default neutral grotesque, and the family carries Cyrillic support. The reference is Montreal as a design city, from Expo 67 to its current studio scene, and it has become one of the foundry's most-used identity faces.

Classification

Versatile grotesque with the spirit of a display font; seven weights upright and italic for 14 styles, slightly tighter kerning, Cyrillic support. Inspired by Montreal's design city status, from Expo 67 to its contemporary scene.
