PP Telegraf specimen from Pangram Pangram Foundry

A brutalist grotesk by Nick Losacco and Samuel Salminen with rectangular counters in the heavy weights and two italic angles for slant or shock.

About

A modern grotesk that swaps grotesque softness for rigid angles, with counters becoming more rectangular as weight increases to keep small sizes legible and big sizes punchy. Twenty-four styles split across an Upright, a comfortable 15 degree Slanted for editorial, and a more aggressive 30 degree Oblique for graphic disruption, all with a variable file. Suits tech-forward brands, editorial systems and poster work that wants structure rather than warmth.

Classification

Pangram lists it under Brutalist, Grotesk, Italics and Variable. A modern grotesk whose counters become more rectangular as weight increases, with eight weights and two italic systems at 15 degrees and 30 degrees.
