Designed by Valerio Monopoli and released in January 2022, Räder spans 16 styles across eight weights from Hairline to Bold, each with a true italic. Its round inner counters recall the craft of pre-neutral wayfinding systems, where legibility and visual character were not treated as opposing concerns. A variable font is included, and an extensive set of OpenType alternates covers letterforms such as A, K, R, W and Q, giving designers room to shift the register from restrained editorial to something more characterful.
