PGF-Elyss

An Art Nouveau-inflected display family spanning a Roman, Lombardic, Script, Catchwords and Ornaments set, inspired by Jean Larcher's calligraphic work.
About
Developed over eighteen months, the family grew from a single Roman into five distinct subfamilies united by an organic, Art Nouveau sensibility. The Roman runs in four weights from Light to Bold, the Script includes a Small variant, and both the Catchwords and Ornaments sets follow the same four-weight structure. Positioned at labels, headers and cover design, it covers over 200 Latin-based languages and includes an extensive OpenType feature set with swash, small capitals and stylistic alternates.
Classification
A multi-subfamily display project drawing on calligraphic, Lombardic and Nouveau traditions; the Roman, Script, Catchwords and Ornaments variants all serve decorative, heading-level use rather than extended text setting.
