PGF-Orqquidea
Peggo Fonts · Marcela Aguilera, Pedro González

A calligraphic family built from handmade lettering by Chilean calligrapher Marcela Aguilera, extended into a sans, decorative and ornament subfamilies by Pedro González.
About
Orqquidea spans 12 variants across four distinct subfamilies: a five-weight geometric sans, a five-weight calligraphic Manuscrita ranging from Hair to Contrast, and two decorative additions in Garden and Deco. The Manuscrita subfamily draws directly from Aguilera's physical calligraphy work, while González's type design extends that into a full system suited to packaging, labels, branding and editorial layouts. OpenType features include standard and discretionary ligatures, stylistic alternates, oldstyle figures and fractions.
Classification
The Manuscrita subfamily is rooted in handmade calligraphy by Marcela Aguilera, making it a calligraphic script; the broader family also includes a geometric sans and decorative/ornament variants, but the defining voice of the family is its handwritten script character.
