Rationell
Peggo Fonts · Mauro Andrés

A 24-style corporate sans drawing on mid-century Swiss rationalism with a Didone structural underpinning, covering 222 Latin-based languages across 12 weights and matching italics.
About
Spanning Hairline to ExtraBlack with matching italics, the family is sized for both continuous text and monumental display applications such as billboards and building-scale printed mesh. Forty OpenType features include contextual alternates for 'Il' disambiguation, automatic Roman numerals, old-style and tabular figures, and localised forms across more than 2,200 glyphs. The design targets corporate publishing, wayfinding and complex information systems where consistency across weight extremes matters.
Classification
Rationell draws on 1950s Swiss rationalism with underlying structure referencing 19th-century Didone modernism, placing it firmly in the neo-grotesque tradition with humanist Latin inflections.
