Designed by Mauro Andrés under the creative direction of Victoria Rivas, Universo draws on retro-futurist poster aesthetics and the kind of scientific publications that Aldo Novarese worked alongside in the 1950s. The family runs across five upright weights from Thin to Black, with a Stencil variant rounding out the six styles. Conceived for headlines, concert posters, magazine covers and branding, it includes a wide set of OpenType features including stylistic alternates, ligatures and oldstyle figures.
