Originally released through Velvetyne as Bluu Next and picked up by rock bands, museums and fashion brands, the family has been rebuilt entirely by Jean-Baptiste Morizot following his time at Black Foundry. The defining feature is the straight top applied to letters that are normally curved, such as 'a', 'c' and 's', creating an angular tension unusual in serif type. This professional edition adds a true italic and multiple weights absent from the earlier open-source release.
