Odisseia
Plau · Rodrigo Saiani

A monospaced family from Plau with four weights, a generous x-height and a slightly shorter vertical scale than typical typewriter-derived fonts.
About
Designed by Rodrigo Saiani with assistance from Flora de Carvalho, Odisseia applies the fixed-width constraint across Light, Regular, Bold and Black weights, each requiring character-level adjustments to maintain consistent colour across the range. It sits shorter than most monospaced fonts and carries a large x-height, which gives it a compact, structured rhythm well suited to code editors, information systems and brand identities where vertical alignment and even texture matter. The family includes italics for all four weights and covers Latin Extended character sets including diacritics for Central and Eastern European languages.
Classification
Odisseia is explicitly a monospaced typeface where every character occupies an identical horizontal unit, placing it squarely in the mono category with no meaningful subcategory distinction beyond that.
