About
Named after the Italian word for shoulder — the supporting lead in opera and theatre — Spalla is built around architectural letterforms with a performative character. Its nine static weights run from Thin to Black, with a variable axis spanning the full range, and over 290 glyphs cover 27 languages. Opentype features include discretionary ligatures, several stylistic alternates and a full suite of numeral forms.
