Tenez
Plau · Rodrigo Saiani

A display didone from Plau, rooted in pointed nib calligraphy and designed with deliberately organic construction for contemporary branding and editorial use.
About
Designed by Rodrigo Saiani and originating from a client branding project, Tenez takes its cues from Bodoni and Didot but resists the rigidity of strict neoclassical revival by favouring organic, hand-cut character. The family covers four weights from Light to Black, each with italics, and is also available as a variable font spanning nine weight steps from Thin to Black in both roman and italic axes. It is suited to large-scale applications such as packaging, editorial covers and identity work where high contrast and calligraphic detail can be appreciated.
Classification
Tenez is a high-contrast display didone rooted in pointed nib calligraphy, drawing on Bodoni and Didot influences while maintaining deliberately organic construction that echoes late 19th-century advertising typography.
