Originally released in 2011, Halogen gained a following for its confident geometry and generous x-height, departing from purely utilitarian extended sans conventions. The 2024 Pro edition adds Cyrillic and Greek script support, expands the character set substantially and introduces the Halogen Soft variant alongside the existing Flare and Slab branches. Forty-two styles span seven weights from Hairline to Black with matching obliques, and OpenType features include small caps, oldstyle figures, fractions, swash alternates and case-sensitive forms.
