About
Inspired by the parallel computing and design research of Knuth at Stanford and Cooper at MIT during the 1970s and 1980s, MetaBuch borrows the skeletal structure of Metafont's output while adding practical refinements. A high x-height and optical overshoots make it serviceable at text sizes as well as display, unusual for a fixed-width face of this lineage. The character set covers 120 glyphs including basic Latin, lining figures, ligatures and alternates, and is available in a single Light weight across desktop, web and app formats.
