Designed by Ian Griffin and Jonathan Maghen, the family captures the inscriptional lettering found on the memorial plaques of the Hollywood Reservoir in Los Angeles. Two variable axes control weight from Light to Bold and style from sans to serif, with four named interpolation zones: Sans, Glyphic, Material and Serif. The 515-glyph set includes lining and old-style figures, ligatures, swashes and stylistic alternates, and the desktop OTF format is available free for non-profit and cultural projects.
