Designed by Jonathan Maghen, the typeface takes its name from conceptual art curator Seth Siegelaub and draws direct visual reference from unidentified type used to caption amateur athletics photographs from the 1970s. The family comprises two styles, Mono and Mono Grotesque, each covering 128 glyphs including basic Latin, lining figures, alternates, ligatures and common punctuation. Desktop OTF files are available free for self-initiated, non-profit and cultural projects, with paid licences for broader use.
