About
Based directly on the lettering Yukimasa Okumura designed for YMO's 1981 album cover, this typeface reconstructs that geometric, all-caps aesthetic into a usable Latin character set. The single Regular weight covers A to Z only, with 52 glyphs and no lowercase, figures, punctuation or symbols, deliberately preserving the constraints of the original artwork. Released under the SIL Open Font Licence, it is Primary Foundry's first free offering and is distributed via e-mail on request.
