Designed by Maarten van Maanen, Trope is a condensed sans serif with clean, legible forms and occasional quirks in the letterforms that keep it from feeling generic. The family spans Regular, Italic, Bold and a Mono cut, covering 244 glyphs with extended Latin characters, ligatures and lining figures. The desktop OTF is available free for self-initiated, non-profit and cultural projects, with paid licences for commercial use.
