Anchor
Process Type Foundry · Eric Olson · 2010

A four-weight family of round display gothics by Eric Olson, designed to work in tight spaces alongside Bryant Compressed.
About
Anchor runs from a workaday Medium and Semibold through to a plump Bold and Black that lean into exaggeration and swagger. Eric Olson designed it as a companion to Bryant Compressed, and the two sit naturally together in editorial and identity work where informality is still expected to behave. An OpenType ornaments set adds a collection of playful arrows.
Classification
Anchor is a round display gothic, informal in character but structured enough for compact setting. Its rounded letterforms and varying weight personalities from straightforward medium to swaggering black place it firmly in the display category.
