A four-weight grotesque slab developed for the 2019 TypeCon brand identity, offered as a companion to PS Type Lab's Campaign grotesk.
About
Originally commissioned for the SoTA TypeCon 2019 conference identity, Campaign Slab draws its structural cues from the Campaign grotesque while allowing itself room to diverge into its own voice. The family runs four weights from Regular to Black, supplemented by alternate numeral sets and variants on the more decorative uppercase characters. Further development is planned as part of the broader Campaign family project.
Classification
A slab serif family related to the Campaign grotesque, with structure drawn from grotesk conventions but given freedom to deviate; fits the grotesque slab subcategory given its close kinship with a sans-serif companion.
