Union
Radim Pesko · Radim Pesko · 2001

A deliberate synthesis of Arial and Helvetica, occupying the middle ground between the two most ubiquitous sans-serifs of the PC and Mac era.
About
Designed by Radim Pesko, Union merges the contours of Arial and Helvetica into a single typeface intended to sit between the perceived vulgarity of Arial and the sophistication of Helvetica. Available in two weights, Regular and Bold, each with matching italics. Its conceptual premise is as clear as its form: a functional grotesque with an explicit lineage.
Classification
A synthesis of Arial and Helvetica, two canonical neo-grotesque sans-serifs, placing Union squarely in the grotesque tradition with a conceptual twist on its sources.
