Comique is built from careful typographic extraction of vintage Franco-Belgian comic books — the visual tradition of Tintin and Astérix. Each glyph has been painstakingly restored from original printed sources, with the intentional limitation that only characters which existed in the source material are included. The result is an authentic display face with genuine bande dessinée character.
