TOOM
RetroSupply Co. · Christopher Sperandio
A 1950s horror comic lettering font modelled on the Leroy lettering device used by EC Comics, with skulls, excitement lines and deliberately misprinted characters.
About
TOOM replicates the eerie mechanical consistency of the Leroy Lettering System, the technical drawing device that gave EC Comics their distinctive all-caps style. Christopher Sperandio's design includes period-specific extras: skulls, excitement lines, and intentionally misprinted glyphs that heighten the vintage horror aesthetic. Three all-caps variants cover regular, italic and bold italic settings.
