About
Originating from Titus Nemeth's research into Maghrebi script traditions, the regular weight derives from antiquarian foundry type found in a 19th-century book, redrawn for contemporary use and extended to five weights with a companion Latin. Generous curves, expressive swashes that can cross word boundaries, and fourteen stylistic sets covering alternate letterforms specific to the Maghrebi manuscript tradition give designers a wide palette. The variable font implementation allows swash lengths to be tuned, making it suitable for editorial work, packaging and digital publishing across Arabic, Berber and multilingual Maghrebi contexts.
