About
Designed by Elena Schneider and released in 2013, Eskorte Arabic pairs five weights from Regular to Extrabold across Arabic and Latin scripts, drawn in concert to maintain a coherent visual tone across languages. The Arabic includes a full set of vocalization marks, discretionary ligatures, contextual alternates for Persian and Urdu, and separate numeral sets for all three languages. It was awarded first prize for Arabic at Granshan 2013 and named among Typographica's Favourites the same year.
