Rosetta · Tania Chacana

An all-caps display family by Tania Chacana that fuses Roman epigraphic letterforms with Art Deco architectural inscriptions, available across four widths and eight weights with variable font support.
About
Drawing from Roman museum inscriptions in Rome and Lyon alongside Art Deco architectural lettering in Buenos Aires, the family combines classical proportions with a subversive sensibility suited to fashion and editorial contexts. Four widths from Condensed to Extra Extended each span eight weights from Thin to Extrabold, and the uprights are available as variable fonts. OpenType features include contraction ligatures, nested ligatures in open and closed forms, swash characters and tall alternates for letters such as I, J, Y and T.
Classification
An all-caps display family rooted in Roman inscriptional letterforms and Art Deco architectural lettering, making it a display type with classical serif proportions but treated as a distinct caps-only genre.
