About
Designed by David Březina and released in May 2025, Softly Yours is a conceptual type system that upends conventional font licensing by generating over one million distinct variants from a fixed set of swappable design features. Nine variants are offered daily; once purchased, a variant is retired from sale permanently, ensuring exclusivity. Seven weights from Light to Black are available, and alternates cover features such as foot terminals, arch counters, dot forms and letter-specific alternates for a, c, f, g, j, r, t, ampersand, asterisk and Y.
Classification
A soft, rounded sans-serif with playful informal character. The rounded terminals and friendly proportions place it firmly in the rounded sans subcategory, oriented toward display and editorial use.
