Edict Text is the body-size optical companion to Edict Display, drawn on the same Jean Jannon and French Garalde-Transitional prototypes but with sturdier strokes, lower contrast and broader proportions for legibility at small sizes. The cut runs across six static weights including an additional Book weight that the Display style does not carry, with matching italics, swash capitals, lowercase terminal forms and small caps. Latin Extended language support and a full OpenType figure set make it usable in long-form editorial settings, paired up to Edict Display for headlines.
