Minora
Serpentype · Alex Meier

A three-weight contemporary sans serif with open, reduced glyph forms, developed by Alex Meier during typeface studies at ZHdK Zurich.
About
Minora began as a student project at the Zurich University of the Arts and was refined in a shared studio after graduation. The family covers Regular, Bold and Black weights, with open counters and plain, reduced forms that the designer cites as defining attributes. OpenType features include alternate figure sets and fractions, making it practical beyond headline use despite its display billing.
Classification
Described as a contemporary sans serif with open, plain and reduced glyph forms, pointing to a geometric or neo-grotesque approach rather than a humanist one.
