Clarinet Display
Setup Type · Ondrej Jób · 2025

A high-contrast modern serif with flared terminals and wide proportions, spanning eight weights from Hair to Black for display and branding use.
About
Designed by Ondrej Jób, Clarinet Display draws on multiple historical periods of letterform design to produce something classically structured yet warm in proportion. Eight weights run from Hair to Black, each sharing the same natural width and medium x-height with very high stroke contrast. The family covers over 100 languages across Basic and Extended Latin, and includes proportional oldstyle and tabular lining figures alongside stylistic sets and standard ligatures.
Classification
High-contrast vertical stress with flared terminals and narrow hairlines characteristic of modern serifs in the Didone tradition, though with wider, warmer proportions than strict Didones.
