About
Clarinet Display Compressed draws on multiple historical periods of letterform design to produce a classical yet warm result, characterised by very high stroke contrast, flared terminals and a medium x-height. Eight weights run from Hair to Black with no italic cut, and the family covers over 100 languages across Basic and Extended Latin with 396 glyphs. Proportional lining figures are the default, supplemented by proportional oldstyle and tabular lining figures, alongside stylistic alternates and standard ligatures.
Classification
A modern serif with very high stroke contrast, flared terminals, compressed proportions and medium x-height, placing it firmly in the high-contrast display serif tradition.
