Setup Type · Ondrej Jób · 2025

A wide, high-contrast display serif in eight weights from Hair to Black, with flared terminals and a classical construction suited to branding and editorial work.
About
Designed by Ondrej Jób, Clarinet Display Wide draws on multiple historical periods of letterform design to produce something round and wide-proportioned with chiselled details and strong stroke contrast. Eight weights run from Hair to Black, and the character set of 396 glyphs includes proportional lining, proportional oldstyle and tabular lining figures. Stylistic set 1 offers single-storey alternates for 'a' and 'g', with standard ligatures and ordinals rounding out the OpenType features.
Classification
A modern serif with very high stroke contrast and flared terminals, wide proportions, and a classical construction typical of display-oriented modern serifs in the Didone lineage.
