Manual Pozor Round
Setup Type · Ondrej Jób · 2018

A caps-only oblique geometric sans digitised from old Slovak warning signs, with soft rounded terminals that mimic the effect of enamel production on letterforms.
About
Designed by Ondrej Jób and released in 2018, Manual Pozor Round is the oblique companion to Manual Grotesk B, derived from the lettering used exclusively on Slovak warning signs rather than street markers. Seven styles run from Thin to Ultra with no stroke contrast and a narrow width, while rounded corners and filled joints reproduce the softening that occurred when letters were fired in enamel. The family covers over 100 languages across Basic Latin and Extended Latin in 237 glyphs.
Classification
A caps-only oblique geometric sans-serif with no stroke contrast, derived from Slovak warning sign lettering. Its rounded terminals and narrow width place it firmly in display rather than text use.
