displaygeometric sans
Łucja specimen from Signal

A single-weight display sans extrapolated from a 1974 Polish exhibition poster, with a sharp-cornered variant offering a subtle tonal shift.

About

Originally commissioned as an exclusive typeface for Dublin-based studio Together We Create, it was drawn from just ten letters on a poster for Polish visual artist Łucja Oźmin's 1974 graphic show. The letterforms are blocky and slightly rounded, later identified as related to the Idźkowski foundry's Blok Ciężki, though by that point Signal had already developed their own distinct interpretation. A sharp-cornered variant sits alongside the rounded original, giving the family a spare but useful tonal range.

Classification

A blocky, slightly rounded display sans extrapolated from a 1974 Polish exhibition poster, with origins in the Idźkowski foundry's Blok Ciężki. Its monumental weight and tight, squared geometry place it firmly in display territory.
