Vibro specimen from Signal

A single-weight display face built on chromatic vibration principles, deliberately sacrificing legibility for maximum optical disruption.

About

Designed by Theo Rosendorf at Post Studio, Vibro strips out counters in favour of continuous striping and exploits chromatic vibration to create an intense optical dazzle effect. Dingbats and exotic ligatures amplify the visual noise, while a full diacritic set extends coverage to over 130 languages. It won a TDC Certificate of Excellence and sits firmly in territory where spectacle is the point.

Classification

Vibro is a display typeface built around chromatic vibration and optical dazzle effects, sacrificing legibility and classical letterform construction in favour of pattern-making and visual disruption.
