Dragönsteel

A broad-nib-informed blackletter in three stylistic variants, drawing on heavy metal logos and 1980s role-playing game aesthetics with a deliberately approachable character.
About
Three styles, Regular, Rough and Sharp, each built on the same broad-nib blackletter skeleton but with distinct surface qualities ranging from clean to distressed to angular. The character set includes uppercase, lowercase, numerals, Latin Extended accents, alternate glyphs, ligatures and three styles of capitals. Aimed squarely at display use in fantasy, gaming and music contexts where blackletter is expected but rigid formality is not.
Classification
Dragönsteel is explicitly a blackletter typeface, informed by broad nib pen construction and referencing heavy metal lettering and medieval typographic traditions, while softening the style with friendlier proportions.
