A three-weight display sans drawn from the hand-lettering on a vintage Dennison Manufacturing Company baseball scoring card, with deliberate imperfection and inky roundness built in.
About
Inspired by lettering found on a paper baseball scoring card made by the Dennison Manufacturing Company in Massachusetts, Scorekard translates those original characters into a full upper- and lowercase alphabet across three weights: Regular, Semibold and Bold. The designer describes its character as intentionally quirky, with line wandering and friendly, inky roundness kept from becoming too eccentric to be broadly usable. A swashy ornament from the original card is included as an alternate asterisk, and Latin diacritic support extends the character set for wider language use.
