A 48-style sans serif workhorse across four optical sizes including a Micro family, drawing on Greco-Roman inscription, 19th century architectural lettering, copperplate engraving and Stephenson Blake grotesques.
About
A sans serif superfamily of 48 styles across four optical sizes, including a Micro cut for the smallest screen sizes. Rework collects influences from across the history of the geometric sans, with stately Greco-Roman square proportions sitting alongside the idiosyncrasies of 19th century commercial lettering, William Caslon IV's Two Lines English Egyptian, copperplate engraved type, phototypeset gothics such as Sackers Gothic, and Stephenson Blake's grotesques. The result reads as part man, part machine, with industrial and humanistic qualities held in tension and a pre-digital sense of physicality. The Micro family is engineered for legibility at small sizes, while the Headline and Display cuts release more expressive detail.
